A Check Valve, non-return valve, reflux valve, retention valve, foot valve, or one-way valve is a valve that commonly approves fluid to flow via it in solely one direction. Check valves are two-port valves, which means they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the different for fluid to leave.

OUR WORKING PRINCIPLE

A Check Valve is a device that only allows the flow of fluids in one direction. They have two ports, one as an inlet for the media and one as the output for the media. Since they only allow media flow in one direction, they are commonly referred to as ‘one way valves’ or ‘non return valves.’ The major purpose of a check valve is to stop backflow in the system.

WCB Swing Check Valve

A swing check valve is mounted with a disc that swings on a hinge or shaft. The disc swings off the seat to allow forward flow and when the flow is stopped, the disc swings back onto the seat to block reverse flow. The weight of the disc and the return flow has an impact on the shut-off characteristics of the valve.

Lift Check Valve

Lift check valves use a swinging disc to allow or block flow. Their design allows them to be fitted in extremely tight spaces – where the flanged check valve can not be used. Lift check valves on the contrary have a molded body that creates room for the disc to swing open fully, thus allowing full flow.

CF8 Swing Check Valve

The CF8 Swing Check Valve is an all purpose non return valve that is much stronger, lighter in weight and smaller in size compared to a conventional swing check valve or life check valve. The CF8 Swing Check Valve employs two spring-loaded plates hinged on a central hinge pin.

CF8M Swing Check Valve

Wafer Check Valve
